The Renovation of Our Domes is Complete!
This week, with God’s help, the renovation of the domes and crosses of our church was successfully completed! Now the new, bright, shining, golden crosses on the gold and blue domes which crown the church visually witness to our faith in the crucified and resurrected Christ to all who pass by.
Thanks to everyone who helped with this project: the architect (Architects DCA), the painters (RLD Industries), and especially our main contractors, Andrei and Marchel (High Standard Installations), who built the new dome from scratch, drove it from Calgary to Ottawa, and installed it into place. Thanks also to the parish council who successfully managed the whole process. Without the support and financial generosity of the parishioners and friends of our parish this renovation would have been impossible. May the Lord God reward you for your love for His church!
