Dear Brothers and Sisters, Parishioners of our Russian Orthodox Church in Ottawa,

All of you have been waiting patiently for the restrictions on gatherings to be lightened and for the possibility to attend church to come up. This week the Ontario provincial government has made certain changes to its rules regarding churches. Because of these changes, we will be returning to a more ‘normal’ church schedule and everyone wishing to attend church will have an opportunity to do so on a more regular basis.

All evening and weekday services will be open to anyone on a first come, first serve basis.

Since we are still limited to the number of people able to be in church at any one time, if you wish to come on Sunday morning for Liturgy, please e-mail or phone the church warden Mrs. Olga Kiriloff (, 613-592-4321). Please include the names of everyone from your household who wishes to come to church in you email. You will be contacted when it is your turn to attend.

Please be patient and understanding of the situation we are in and keep in mind that you may not be able to attend every Sunday service.

The church will once again be open on Wednesday afternoons.

When attending church, please keep a 2-metre distance between yourself and your neighbour (you will be advised where you should stand). Also, please follow all posted instructions as well as any verbal instructions from the church volunteers.
